PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN DAN EFIKASI DIRI TENTANG ANEMIA DAN TABLET TAMBAH DARAH SISWI SMA SETELAH EDUKASI GIZI DENGAN NUVIQ
IMPROVEMENT OF KNOWLEDGE AND SELF-EFFICACY REGARDING ANEMIA AND IRON SUPPLEMENTATION TABLETS AMONG FEMALE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AFTER NUVIQ-BASED NUTRITION EDUCATION
Abstract
Anemia masih menjadi masalah kesehatan umum pada siswi di Indonesia, sedangkan kepatuhan dalam mengonsumsi Tablet Tambah Darah (TTD) masih rendah akibat kurangnya pengetahuan dan efikasi diri. Strategi edukatif yang menarik, seperti Nutrition Video and Interactive Quiz (NUVIQ), yang menggabungkan video edukasi dan kuis interaktif, dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan keyakinan remaja dalam mengonsumsi TTD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi gizi berbasis NUVIQ terhadap pengetahuan dan efikasi diri siswi SMA mengenai anemia dan TTD. Penelitian menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimental dengan rancangan pre-test and post-test with control group. Sampel terdiri atas 170 siswi kelas X dan XI yang dibagi menjadi kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol, masing-masing 85 orang. Hasil uji independent t-test menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok (p < 0,05). Dengan demikian, edukasi gizi menggunakan NUVIQ efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan efikasi diri siswi dalam pencegahan anemia.

Anemia remains a common public health problem among female adolescents in Indonesia, while adherence to Iron Supplementation Tablets (Tablet Tambah Darah, TTD) remains low due to limited knowledge and self-efficacy. Engaging educational strategies, such as the Nutrition Video and Interactive Quiz (NUVIQ), which combines educational videos and interactive quizzes, may improve adolescents’ understanding and confidence in consuming TTD. This study aimed to examine the effect of NUVIQ-based nutrition education on knowledge and self-efficacy regarding anemia and TTD among female high school students. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group design. The sample comprised 170 female students in grades X and XI, divided equally into intervention and control groups, with 85 participants in each group. Independent t-test analysis showed significant differences between the two groups (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that NUVIQ-based nutrition education effectively improves students’ knowledge and self-efficacy in anemia prevention.
