Dysmenorrhea is one of the most common gynecological problems experienced by women of all ages. Symptoms arise due to abnormalities in the pelvic cavity, which significantly interfere with women's activities and often require sufferers to rest and leave their activities. One of the interventions for treating dysmenorrhea is non-pharmacological management, such as the application of dysmenorrhea exercises and the Sanyinjiao technique of acupressure. Based on the research journal Novadela and Efriyanthi, these two treatments are very effective for reducing pain because they both function to produce endorphins. This study aimed to determine the application of dysmenorrhea and sanyinjiao acupressure to reduce dysmenorrhea pain in adolescents at Al Islah Putri Mangkang Islamic Boarding School, Semarang. The research design used was quasi-experimental research with pretest-posttest with control design.
